Cirus Andreu
The founder, Managing Partner, and driving force behind Asymmetriqa is a seasoned financial expert. Graduate in Business Administration and MBA from ESADE, he completed his academic training at HEC Paris and McGill University (Montreal, Canada). A professional investor with a proven track record in the management of mutual funds, Private Equity funds, and pension funds. Consultant to institutional investors. Advisor to prominent families in the management of their wealth. Served as chief executive and lead investment officer of top-tier asset management companies. He provides the ability to diagnose, vindicate, and execute investment projects. He has played a decisive role in managing large asset portfolios and in the development of investment solutions in his prior roles as Executive Chairman, CEO and Chief Investment Officer at Sabadell Asset Management, Iberagentes Fondos, Crédit Lyonnais Asset Management, and AIG.
Ignacio Camí
Senior Advisor at Asymmetriqa EAF and independent director at Asymmetriqa SICAV. Economist and C-suite executive with a proven and successful track record in the banking, financial services, and insurance industries. Advisor to professional services providers on the web. Director and consultant at insurance and reinsurance companies. He has been a board of directors’ member and chair at relevant Asset Management companies, both for undertakings for collective investments and for pension funds. Creator and CEO of insurance and bancassurance businesses at Banco Sabadell group. Board member at commercial banks. Pioneer of occupational pension solutions for corporates and households. Eva María Benedi
Board Member at Asymmetriqa SICAV. Attorney-at-Law in Spain and the United States, holding an LL.M. in Comparative International Law and an Executive MBA. Expert in financial regulation with more than twenty years of experience in the financial and corporate sectors. Founder and managing partner of a regulatory services firm in Luxembourg. Consultant to leading management companies of collective investment schemes. She has served as Head of Legal in Luxembourg-based advisory firms to investment companies and asset managers, also assuming responsibilities in control and operations within Luxembourg asset management companies. Previously, she was part of the legal departments of major Spanish banks and European industrial groups, and practiced law at prestigious law firms in Spain and the United States.
Antonio Hormigos
Senior Investment Advisor at Asymmetriqa EAF, S.R.L. Graduate in Law, and MBA from ESADE. Dedicated investment professional since 1990. He has held executive positions, always in the investments function, and with direct oversight over financial asset portfolios in asset management companies such as GesFibanc (currently Mediolanum Gestión), Ahorro Corporación Gestión, Mirabaud Asset Management, where he held the position of CEO, and Sabadell Asset Management, where he served as Head of Equity Investments. He has been mainly focused on managing mutual funds, covering both bond funds, equity funds, and multi-asset funds. He took over investment specialist functions amidst the integration of Sabadell Asset Management into Amundi group.
